The site and the information sent through it are the responsibility of Ebrahim Halabi, sworn real estate appraiser, Adliyeh, Beirut, Lebanon. Questions about your information can be sent to info@ebrahimhalabi.com.

Through the enquiry form, only what you type in:

• Name.
• Phone number.
• Email address, if you give one.
• The service and property type you choose, the region, the purpose of the report, and whether you have the documents.
• Any additional details you write.

Documents are not sent through the form; they are exchanged by email or WhatsApp once contact has been made.

When you contact directly by phone, WhatsApp or email, the information in that message is received in the same way as any other correspondence.

When you browse the site, anonymous usage statistics are recorded, as described under Cookies and analytics below.

• To reply to your enquiry.
• To understand the file and establish the scope of the service, the documents required, the fee and the timeframe.
• To carry out a service you have instructed.
• To keep the site working, secure and free of automated spam.
• To comply with legal and professional obligations.

Your information is not used for marketing, and is never sold.

The site relies on a small number of service providers, each handling only what it needs for its task:

• Vercel hosts the site and records the anonymous usage statistics.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the enquiry form is being filled in by a person rather than an automated script.
• Resend delivers the completed enquiry form as an email to the office inbox.

Some of these providers process data outside Lebanon, including in the European Union and the United States.

Beyond them, information about a file may be shared with other professionals — a lawyer, surveyor, engineer or notary — or with an official body, only where you ask for that or where it is necessary to carry out the service agreed with you.

Information about property ownership, and about family and business files, is treated as professionally confidential. That includes everything arising in inheritance and dispute files.

Send only what the file needs at each stage. A title extract or photographs of the main documents is usually enough to begin with. Identity documents and other sensitive personal papers should not be sent until a channel for them has been agreed.

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page visits and measure how quickly pages load, and records when a phone, WhatsApp or email link is clicked. These tools do not use cookies, do not identify individual visitors, and do not follow you across other sites.

Cloudflare Turnstile, on the enquiry form, may read technical characteristics of your browser to tell a person from a bot. It is used for that purpose only.

No advertising or social-media tracking is installed on the site.

An enquiry that does not lead to an instruction is deleted within two years of the last contact.

Where an enquiry becomes an instruction, the file and its correspondence are kept for as long as professional and legal obligations require, since a report may be relied on, questioned or reviewed well after it is delivered.

Usage statistics are anonymous and are kept in aggregate.

You may ask to know what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. A request to delete is honoured unless professional or legal obligations attached to a file require the information to be kept, in which case you will be told so.

If you live in a country with its own data protection law, such as the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the rights that law gives you, and can also complain to your local data protection authority.
